Aloha. Imagine a day where the road is part of the wonder. You're following Maui's green north coast, from the little town of Pāʻia to Hāna, with the ocean beside you and a whole island of stories ahead.
Start with the coast in motion at Hoʻokipa. Choose a waterfall walk at Twin Falls, or step into the tropical gardens of the Garden of Eden. At Kaumahina, take in the coast. At Keʻanae Arboretum, look closer at the trees. Then meet Keʻanae itself: lava, waves, and a landscape shaped by generations of care.
Pause above Wailua Valley. Listen to the rain forest at Puaʻa Kaʻa. Leave room for lunch at Nāhiku Marketplace: local food, a little browsing, and perhaps the barbecue you've been thinking about since breakfast. Vendors and hours can change; Aloha can help you check.
You might choose Kahanu Garden, or the black-sand coast of Waiʻānapanapa with the required reservation. Then Hāna town and Hāna Bay: your classic journey's finish. Beyond Hāna is another choice, never an obligation.
This isn't a race to collect thirteen stops. Pick the places that move you. The guide holds thirty-three places and features, eight food choices, and a library of stories for when curiosity calls.
